MOD format is used on many digital camcorders, such as the JVC Everio, the Canon FS100 and the Panasonic D-Snap SD-card camcorders. Firstly, please transfer your MOD files from your camcorders to computer. And then open the MOD to DVD Creator and insert an available DVD disc. Next, you need to import the MOD files you would like to burn to DVD. Click the "+" button to load files. Or you can click "File" button and move to "Import" to add files. Please make sure the length of videos you added is not beyond the capacity of your DVD disc.
If you've added more than one files, you can adjust the play order of them using the "↑" , "↓ ".
Note: if you don't have an available DVD disc at the moment, you can choose to burn your MOD files to ISO files first.
The built-in video editor lets you edit videos and movies before burning MOD to DVD. You can select a video to edit before burning. Trim, crop, rotate it as you like. You can also add image and text watermark, set video effects for a better visual effect.
Where to reach the editing tools? After you loaded the file, they'll show on the list as thumbnail. You'll also find there are two icons following the file thumbnail, showing as scissors and pencil.
The scissors represesnts trimming tool. It lets you cut the wanted segment off the entire file to burn to DVD. The pencil icon represents more editing tools including cropping, rotating, flipping, adjusting video brightness, contrast, saturation, and more.
You are able to customize your DVD menu. There are different styles of built-in templates, frames and buttons for your choice. To apply a template, you just need to click to choose the desired template from the "Life Series", "Cartoon Series", or "Nature Series". To select frame and button, to change the template background, or to add background music, please click the tool icon on the selected template.
Note: if you don't choose one as menu template from the supplies, the first template will be applied as default. If you don't want a template, you can choose no template when you come to the "Settings" section.
When done with the editing and template choosing, please hit the "Burn" button to come to the "Settings" step. In this step, you need to do the following: type Disc Label, choose destination, File Project (iso/DVD), DVD Aspect ratio (4:3/16:9), DVD format (PAL/NTSC), decide to use template or not.
Note: If you didn't insert an available DVD disc, you have to choose iso as file project. If you don't want menu template, you have to check the No Template box.
After everything is well set, please click "OK" to start the burning process. The burning process might take a while depending on the size of the MOD files. Just let this MOD to Mac DVD Creator handle the rest for you.
