Please download and install the program on your computer, and launch it. When you run to lauch the program, there will be a "Register" pop-up to ask whether you "Register", "Order Now", or "Order Later". If you are running a free trial version to test it, please click "Order Later". If you've purchased it and revceived registration information, please type or copy and paste the "License Name" and "Licens Code" you've received to register.
Note: When you put the license information into the regisgration blank, please make sure that you haven't accidentally typed space characters before or after license code. Or it'll fail to register.
After successfully lauch the program, you'll find a straightforward interface which ensures the program is simple to use.
Getting started is just a matter of clicking the "Add Files" button and then you can browse and load the files you'd like to convert to Kindle Fire. To load files, you can also directly drag and drop the files to the program.
Note: The program can handle video/audio batch conversion, which means, you can add a bunch of files to convert in one go.
After you finish importing the file that you need converting to Kindle Fire, you need to choose the proper output format.
To get the output format list, please click the "Profile" option list. Or you can click the format icon next to the imported file to get the output format list.
Video Formats that Kindle Fire supports include MP4, 3GP, and VP8(.webm). So, you can choose MP4 or 3GP as output format. If you are converting an audio file, you can choose MP3, or WAV as output format.
The output formats offered by the Kindle Fire Video Converter has been cateoried by 2 main categories-Format and Device.
From the "Format" category, you can choose MP4 or 3GP format for Kindle Fire from "Common Video" column, or choose MP3 or WAV from "Common Audio" column.
Since the program has optimized the output formats by devices, you can go to the "Device" category to choose "Kindle Fire" from the "Tablet" column.
After choosing the output format, you can click the "Settings" button to adjust the output settings including video resolution, frame rate, bit rate, and audio sample rate, bit rate, and channels.
If you just want to get specific segments out of a video/audio converted instead of a whole file, you can click "Trim" to make it.
To extract certain segments from a video/audio, there are 3 ways available:
1. Drag the slider on timeline to set start and end time.
2. Click the square brackets while playing the file to fix the start and end time.
3. Go to the "Start Time" and "End Time" slot and click the up-down arrows to set the duration of each, and then click "OK" next to it to confirm it.
Note:
The trimmed segments will be showm on the bottom table. And you are allowed to add or delete segments. To add more segments, please click the "+" button and to delete segments, please click the "-" button.
In addition, after you click the "+" button to add a segment, only when you click to highlight it on the list can you continue to set the start and end time of it.
Click Edit button to open the editing tab, you can find there are "Crop", "Effect", "3D Effect", "Watermark", "Transition", "Audio" tools available.
By cropping, you could delete unwanted part in the video, set aspect ratio as 16:9, 4:3 or original. In "Crop" tab, you can also do video rotation or video flipping;
Switch to the Effect button, you can adjust Brightness, Contrast and Saturation, and you can apply special effect including "Old Film", "Emboss", and "Gray".
Click the "3D Effect", you can apply 3D effect (Red/Blue, Green/Red, and Yellow/Blue) to convert 2D to 3D.
Switch to "Watermark" and then you can add image or type text as watermark. In "Transition", you can add video fade in or out effect while in "Audio" you can add audio fade in/out effect.
After everything is well set and you are ready to convert, please press the round and orange button lower right corner on the main interface.
You can see how the conversion process from the running bar. How long it will take to finish the conversion depends on how large your files are. When conversion completes, a pop-up will inform you and ask you to open folder or not.
Note: Please make sure the save location offers enough space for your to save the converted file if your file is very large.
