The program is absolutely clean and safe. Please feel free to download, install and launch it. Remember to insert a workable DVD disc into your computer. A "Register" window will pop up to let you choose "buy now", to "register" or to "ask me later". If you have ordered the program and received license code, please choose to register. For free trial, please choose "Ask me later".
Note: If you don't have an available DVD disc inserted, an info reading "There is no any recordable device!" pops up after you pass the "Register" pop-up. Please click "OK" to skip it. If you want to continue without a blank DVD inserted, you have to choose to burn to ISO files later.
Please opt from either DVD5 or DVD9 version of discs to burn your video file before you import AVCHD files. While loading files, please notice the total length of your videos according to the DVD5 or DVD9 option you've chose.
To import AVCHD videos, please go to find "File > Import" to browse and load the AVCHD files you've transfer to your computer from the camcorder. Or you can click the "+" button to load the files. To delete a file, please click "-"button.
When finishing adding AVCHD files, you'll find them shown in thumbnail. Optionally, you can extract certain part of the video to burn to DVD or to edit it a little bit.
To extract desired part out of the entire video, please click the scissors icon next to the imported file thumbnail.
To rich more editing tools, please click the pencil icon next to the scissors icon. When you enter the "Edit" window, you can resize the video by cropping, rotating the video if it is in wrong orientation. Or you can adjust the video effect (brightness, contrast, and saturation) and add special effect including old film, gray, or emboss to make it more attractive. If you like to protect your copy right, you can choose an image from native folder to add as watermark, or you can directly type text as watermark.
To make your DVD more attractive, please add DVD menu. There are many available DVD menu templates for your options. You can choose from "Life Series", "Cartoon Series", or "Nature Series". If you don't want to add DVD menu, please choose "No Template" when you come to the "Setting" part.
Moreover, if you have chosen a template, you are allowed to do more editing to it by clicking the tool icon on the chosen template. You are allowed to choose a local image as background, to add special background music, type menu title text, and apply frame and button.
When all editing is OK, click the "Burn" button enter the "Setting" part where you need to type disc label and choose destination as well as file project (iso or DVD), DVD aspect (4:3 or 16:9), DVD format (PAL or NTSC). When everything is well set, please press "OK" to start to burn.
Note: if you didn't insert a blank DVD disc, please choose "iso" as file project and choose the location to "save iso to". At last, insert the DVD disc into your computer's DVD drive. You can easily burn the iso files to DVD next time when you got a DVD disc.
