Step 1Download and Install PSP Video Converter

To begin with, please download and install the PSP Video Converter on your computer within a few steps. No malware is included in the software so you can feel free to download and install it. After successfully installed the program, please launch the program.

Note: You'll be asked to "Order Now", "Order Later" or "Register" when you launch the program, if you have made an order and got the registration code, please input the information to register it. After you register, the pop-up will not pops up again when next time you open the software. If you haven't purchase a license code, please click "Order Later" for a quick trial. If you want to order now, please click the "Order Now" to make the payment.

Step 2Add Video Files and Select Output Formats

Next, you need to import videos that you would like to convert to PSP, PS3, or, PS4 for playback. To do so, you can either click the Add Files button or directly drag the files to the program.

Note: If you haven't downloaded the videos, you can download it immediately with the program. To get to the work place, please click Download button. You are allowed to download videos by copying and pasting the video URLs to the program. When finished, you can directly import the files to the program for conversion by clicking the button Import All.

And then, please choose an output format for each imported file. If you are applying the same output format to all files, you can check the Apply to All box so that you don't need to choose the output format one by one.

To choose output format, please click the Profile option list to browse the output formats. If you want to convert videos to PSP 3, you can go to "Device > Game Console > PS3 (*.mp4)" as output format.

Note: You can see there is a search box on top left corner of the format list. So, if you don't know where you can find PSP MP4 format, you can search "PSP" or "MP4" in the box so that it will quickly lead you to the right output profile.

Step 3Optional Editing Work

The software offers basic but useful editing tools for you to do simple editing work to your video before conversion starts.

Trim Video: click Trim button to enter the Trim tab where you can cut off the desired parts of the selected video.

Split Video: click Split button to go into the Split work place to choose split videos by time duration or by the numbers of clips you want to get. For example, you have a 6 minutes video to split. If you choose to split by duration, like 2 minutes, you'll get 3 clips with each 2 minutes. If you split by average, like 2 clips, you'll get 2 clips with each 3 minutes.

To get more editing tools, please click Edit button to reach more, including cropping, rotating, flipping, adjusting video brightness, saturation, contrast, adding Old Film, Gray, or Emboss as special effect, adding 3D effect, or applying video and audio fade-in and fade-out effect.

Step 4Convert Videos to PSP, PS3, PS4

If the imported fils are ready to be converted, please click the convert icon lower right corner of the main interface to get the PSP Video Converter worked. You are able to see how it process right at the moment from the progress running bar.

Note: If your files are too large, you might have to wait for a longer while to get the converted files.
